Charles Kojo Bucknor is a visionary leader in African entrepreneurship, known for his transformative impact across multiple sectors. A 2012 graduate of Ashesi University College with a BSc in Management Information Systems, Charles began his career at General Electric (GE), where he quickly rose through the ranks. His role as Project Finance Director for Power Distribution Services in Ghana highlighted his ability to reshape the electricity landscape, extending his influence beyond West Africa.

Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, Charles co-founded several successful hospitality businesses in 2017 in Osu's Nyaniba area, including the Alley Bar, TreeHouse Restaurant, and the Nyaniba Neighbourhood Market. These ventures quickly became local favorites, marking the start of his journey in entrepreneurship. Beyond hospitality, Charles is the Co-Founder and CEO of Aphro Beverages, a company offering a portfolio of African beverages, including Organic Palm Spirits and Ready-to-Drink alcopops.

Charles’ career at GE also included roles as Project Development Associate and Analyst, where he honed his skills in project finance and development.
